Organische groei van binnen: verdieping van de verbinding met je bron

In deze tijd van het jaar werd door de Kelten het lichtfeest Imbolc gevierd. Imbolc betekende letterlijk ‘in de buik’. De buik van ‘Moeder Aarde’ is gevuld met nieuw leven, maar veel is daarvan nog niet te zien. Het feest valt ook rond de tijd van de volle maan in de maand februari die gekend is om haar heldere licht. Volgens overlevering maakt haar kracht datgene wat nog verborgen is wakker, zowel bij planten en dieren als bij mensen.

Nu is de tijd om net zoals de natuur opnieuw contact te maken met onze bron en dat waar onze vereniging voor staat ‘informeren, verbinden en verdiepen’ terug aan de oppervlakte te brengen. Als leden van vzw MOMENT vinden we dit licht – deze kracht – om te zijn en te groeien in mindfulness.

Na ruim een jaar als interim-voorzitter van vzw MOMENT, prijs ik mij gelukkig dat ik deze tijd kan ingaan als lid van een nieuw bestuur* van collega's. Bedankt voor het vertrouwen dat de leden in de afgelopen periode in mij hebben gesteld en laten we nu samen deze nieuwe fase starten.

Organic growth from within: deepening the connection with your source

At this time of the year the ancient Celts celebrated the festival of lights, called Imbolc. Imbolc literally meant "in the stomach". The belly of ‘Mother Earth’ is filled with new life, but much of it is not yet visible. The festival also falls around the time of the full moon in February, which is known for its bright light. Tradition has it that its power awakens that which is still hidden, in plants and animals as well as in humans.

Now is the time to reconnect with our source - just like nature does - and to bring back to the surface what our association stands for: to inform, to connect and to deepen. As members of vzw MOMENT we find this light - this power - to be and to grow in mindfulness.

After more than a year as interim chairman of vzw MOMENT, I consider myself fortunate to be able to start this time as member of a new board * of colleagues. Thank you for the trust that the members have placed in me in the past period and lets start this new phase together.
